Information on Coronavirus / COVID-19 in Cambodia (Latest Updates December 2021)
Re: Information on Coronavirus in Cambodia from 8 March 2020 (Latest Updates)
Yes I did. Very few who get the virus enter any kind of severe state.
I can't imagine the Khmer authorities inviting 5000 people to stay in a hospital if not sick.

Wait what?
It's been one year that some claim "tomorrow you'll see".
I can already hear "You see it's now".
Nothing during one year when borders open and now? Suddenly...

Could be. Who knows what they are up to.It looks like they're talking bout home treatment and at the same time locking up everyone testing positive.
I am trying to apply logic which may be a mistake

Re: Information on Coronavirus in Cambodia from 8 March 2020 (Latest Updates)
So much official information, but what is actually happening as far with curfews and lockdowns ?
Ok, correct me if I'm wrong. My summary so far is that Phnom Penh and Takhmao city in Kandal province are in strict lockdown. This means that people are confined to their houses, and that shops and factories are closed, except for essential services. (Sadly, beer deliveries are not included as essential AFAIK.)The markets are shut - or not ? - usually they shut for KNY anyway.
In Siem Reap and Kampot/Kep there is a curfew at night, bars are closed with restaurants still open, but otherwise no big changes during the daytime.
Sihanoukville has issued a ban on alcohol sales for 14 days, and while there are restrictions at the Central market (due to a couple of cases of Covid), it's still open and there is no lockdown inside the province - also I'm not sure if there is a curfew ? Casinos are open if there have been no Covid cases reported on site recently.
Our man in Ratankiri (hey, yes you), tells us that life there is pretty much as normal for the moment.
Any more news from the provinces ?
Corrections welcome.

Serra supermarket in Ratanakiri saw the Iron Grandpa this morning and banned sales of alcohol for 14 days. There's also a 14 day cerfew in the province from 5am-9pm. Bars and restaurants have to close at 7pm.
