Oz and toilet paper

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

Dont have this problem in countries with the humble bum gun :-)

Dont mention bum guns or there will be a lot of panic buying of them . Check your local hardware in OZ and UK and see if there are any left on the self.

An Australian family accidentally ordered $3,264 worth of toilet paper when they bought 48 boxes instead of 48 rolls

The order, bought on the online company Who Gives a Crap, cost $US3,264 instead of the $US68 that 48 rolls would have cost. Janetzki bought the rolls on her credit card but didn’t check her statement until after 48 boxes of toilet paper arrived at her door.

The large purchase turned out to be a blessing in disguise, though: As grocery store shelves cleared across Australia when people panic bought toilet paper while preparing for a possible coronavirus outbreak, Janetzki was able to resell the rolls at the same price at which they bought them, according to Reuters. She’s using the funds to help pay for her daughter’s upcoming school trip.
