Thailand Travel Restrictions and Info
Re: Thailand Travel Restrictions and Info
Correct...
INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Travellers can transfer at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport between international flights booked on the same ticket, when the transiting time does not exceed 24 hours. Passengers must not leave the transiting area and are not able to enter Thailand.
Please note that all required documents, including those in digital format, must be printed to be presented at check-in and to the relevant immigration authorities:
1. COVID test by RT-PCR method with a laboratory result indicating that COVID -19 is not detected, issued within 72 hours before departure
OR
A certificate of full vaccination against COVID-19 for more than 14 days before the travel date, with a vaccine approved by the World Health Organization or the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand
And,
2. Travel health insurance policy (worldwide or including Thailand) covering health care and treatment expenses for COVID-19, for no less than 50,000 USD. Please print the insurance certificate and all pages of the terms and conditions on the COVID coverage and medical benefits (passengers may be refused boarding if they can not show that their insurance meets these requirements)

....and the ban on nightlife continued. The suspension of the Test & Go no-quarantine programme for air travellers has been extended indefinitely, but three provinces will be added to the sandbox scheme that currently applies only to Phuket.
The decisions were made at a top-level policy meeting on Friday, with the government opting for a compromise between needed tourism revenue and fears of a new Covid-19 outbreak.
The additional sandbox destinations are three islands in Surat Thani province - Koh Samui, Koh Tao and Koh Phangan - and the entire provinces of Krabi and Phangnga. No date was announced for its commencement.

What constitutes
"full vaccination against COVID-19"? For entry to Thailand or Cambodia
Is it double vaccinated or does one need the booster as well?

For Cambodia, final required dose at least 14 days prior to arrival to be eligible for quarantine free entry. Boosters not required.

Less than 8000 cases a day in Thailand, around 200 000 a day in UK, seems very easy to understandphuketrichard wrote: ↑Fri Jan 07, 2022 8:53 am with these 2 graphs, cant understand why a tourists would venture there.

So, yesterday, one Thai and 34 foreigners who flew in from the UK tested positive. It is unknown here how many tested positive on days 5-6. Which, of course, is more important as most of these people have been wandering around the country.
The infection rate of all travellers entering Thailand by air:
🗓 November: 0.13%
🗓 December: 0.45%
🗓 January: 2.63%
Test & Go: 2.91%
Sandbox: 2.14%
Quarantine: 2.47%

Mate in BKK saying they have reduced the bar time closures back from 11pm to 9pm.
What is the point of that?

Getting people used to the health dictatorship and instilling fear for a normal flu .. Controlling the people with terror .. First with communism, then with Islamic fundamentalism, today with the fake pandemic and dividing people between vaccinated and unvaccinated.
Divide and rule...
Cambodia admin expatonline warned me not to talk about covid. So you can no longer express your own free thoughts even on a forum. If this is the future you want to leave your children, take a seat. The sins of the fathers will fall on the children. Good luck!
