The BMA said they have to temporarily close 25 vaccination centers across Bangkok tomorrow due to insufficient vaccines allocated by the government. The only two locations to stay open are the SCG Vaccination Center and SCB HeadquartersCowshed Cowboy wrote: ↑Sun Aug 01, 2021 3:06 pm Thailand's July Vaccination Stats :

ONLY About 5.6% of the population is fully vaccinated. 13,802,916 (+162,737) people have received the first dose, while 3,883,058 (+31,605) have been fully inoculated
this is indeed a sign of how ineffective the government is

Thailand (and Vietnam) secure the very bottom of the Nikkei COVID19 Recovery Index, a monthly report. But Kudos to Cambodia!
Headline: Cambodia jumps to 82nd from 105 in Nikkei COVID-19 recovery index, 2nd highest in ASEAN
And today Thailand saw another record number of cases and deaths, blogger Richard Barrow reports.
Headline: Cambodia jumps to 82nd from 105 in Nikkei COVID-19 recovery index, 2nd highest in ASEAN
https://www.khmertimeskh.com/50910468/c ... -in-asean/Cambodia was ranked 82nd among 120 countries/regions with a score of 45.0 in the Nikkei COVID-19 Recovery Index as of July 31, up from 105th (32.0) on July 7.
China got the highest score (74.0), followed by New Zealand (69.5) and Hungary (69.0), while Japan is behind Cambodia with 44.5.
For other countries in the ASEAN region, Singapore came in 7th place with 66.0, Laos 103th with 35.5, the Philippines 106th with 35.0, Malaysia and Indonesia 114th with 30.0, while Vietnam and Thailand stay at the bottom with the same score of 22.0.
Nikkei COVID-19 Recovery Index ranks more than 120 countries/regions on infection management, vaccine rollouts and social mobility at the end of each month.
A high ranking indicates that a country/region is closer to recovery with its low numbers of confirmed COVID-19 cases, better vaccination rates and/or less stringent social distancing measures. C. Nika – AKP
And today Thailand saw another record number of cases and deaths, blogger Richard Barrow reports.
Some sun in a cloudy sky though. Thailand inoculated more than 670,000 people on Thursday and over a million in two days.!!NEW HIGH - #COVID19 Update on Saturday: 21,838 new cases (923 from prisons) and 212 deaths. 21,108 released from care.

Re: Thailand Travel Restrictions and Info
Another anti-government car rally through the streets of Pattaya today, I inadvertently drove into the middle of the convoy at a major junction and didn't have much option but to go with the flow. When you see anyone everyone on the street standing to attention giving the 3 fingered democracy salute in support, all age ranges, you begin to wonder if anyone supports Prayut's regime. I've always felt it would take economic hardship to force a broader movement for change of some sort, I can't help feeling we are slowly but surely moving towards that situation.
Yes sir, I can boogie, I can boogie, boogie, boogie all night long.
