Thailand Travel Restrictions and Info

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

yup and trying to find figures for the death rate in 2020 is harder than you think, the closest i could find is "data collated from over 200 countries has shown significant reductions in TB case notifications, with 25-30% drops reported in 3 high burden countries – India, Indonesia, the Philippines – between January and June 2020"
same goes with the Flu as well, which is now pretty much none existent now Covid has come along
lots of information in this download.

The Phuket News posted this story below around noon today. Looking pretty bad at Patong Beach.

Image
PHUKET: Patong Beach remains devoid of visitors as COVID infections rise across the island and the spread of infections elsewhere in the country has sparked mass cancellations of planned trips to Phuket.

The Phuket Provincial Public Health Office (PPHO) this morning (Apr 12) reported 74 cases of confirmed infections on the island since April 3.

That number had risen from 58 confirmed cases as of yesterday morning. In reporting the 58 cases yesterday, the PPHO reported only three tambon (subdistricts) on the island that had not yet had a confirmed case of COVID-19.
