Traveling in Times of Coronavirus
Re: Traveling in Times of Coronavirus
Tourists, I think they might be talking more about Chinese, who are coming to play at the casinos, or looking at investment. It was not a long time ago when it was mentioned that investors would possibly be allowed to travel without quarantine and use a phone app so authorities know the investors journey.

Judging by this graphic of vaccination rates, 'local' tourism, is still a long way off. 12 months sounds about right. And by this I mean - hassle free - test free - just rock up and fly travel.xX.TROPA.Xx wrote: ↑Thu May 27, 2021 9:29 pm
Vaccine passports are 12 months if not longer away IMO

Re: Traveling in Times of Coronavirus
I think it doesnt really matter because we all need to take pcr swab test to get on our first flight-- where ever that may be. In the Singapore document it states from the first part of your journey
but yea. these things can change and don't want to be tossed because of something like this.
Manhattan keeps on making it, Brooklyn keeps on taking it

Summary
Portugal is set to be moved from UK's green travel lists to amber - meaning that people can only travel there for essential reasons - the BBC understands
And it looks likely that no new countries will be added to the green lists when the latest update is confirmed later
It is expected seven more countries will be added to the red lists, indicating they should only be visited in extreme circumstances

France to allow UK tourists to enter if fully vaccinated
This is all well and good, but people still need to arrange PCR tests while there, more tests when they come home, passenger locator forms, plus 10 days isolation. The vast majority of people won't want all that grief for 2 weeks in the sun.

Arrivals who have had two vaccine doses will only need to show proof of negative antigen test

First thing to consider: His nationality and his right to enter The Netherlands. The list is long but if he has an EU passport he will be ok. This website will tell you who can and can't enter.one_dolla wrote: ↑Sun Jul 11, 2021 8:46 am does anyone know the lastest requirements flying PP to Amsterdam for Covid tests. Interestingly, he does NOT need a Covid-19 test 72 hours before if he has a vaccination certificate with a vaccine that includes Sinopharm and Sinovac at least 14 days before arrival. The Netherlands do not specify which countries certificates are acceptable (most do).
DO NOT test this out though, I doubt you get passed Phnom Penh Airport, but it is noteworthy that at least one EU country is accepting vax certificates from anywhere. How long this lasts is another matter.

How Blackpool became a “dumping ground” for the socially excluded
Beyond the fun of Blackpool Tower and Pleasure Beach is one of England’s most deprived communities.
