Street 104

This is the part of the forum where we discuss Cambodia's nightlife! While most bars, nightclubs, pubs, beer gardens, and hostess bars are in Phnom Penh, we discuss the Cambodian nightlife across all of Cambodia, including Siem Reap, Kampot, and Sihanoukville. The main nightlife areas in Phnom Penh are on Street 136, Street 130, Street 110 and Street 51, but there are other party spots that aren't girlie bars where expats, tourists, and locals drink until the sun comes up. Feel free to post specials and promotions that relate to nighttime fun!

Street 104

Post by rozzieoz »

I went to Oscars on the Corner last night (Street 104) and was shocked at the state of Street 104.
At least half the bars are gone.
Once you've read the dictionary, every other book is just a remix.

Def dying these last couple of years as has st 51/110 whereas st 136/130/118/5 has grown. Rose bar 104 used to have a reputation of having the pick of lookers but no more.

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

When the subject is hostess bars, I think you'd better specify which virus.

greed more like. i do not frequent girlie bars but according to a firend they are asking stupid money because people fo a certain virus infected asian land are offerring to pay it. Footfall is also down with far fewer european visitors and many of the asian ones preferring to stay up naga end and Darling Darling. Comparing like with like another friend told me pretty gogodancers in Pattay can now be had for under 2000 thb including bar fine because their tourism has taken a bit of caning.

TBF a lot of European resorts are under transition. the youngsters who used to spedn a week smashed out their faces are being replaced by "cultural"tourists so the nightlife scene is changing. balearic islands has no banned pub crawls and cheap booze nights

You could be right, Street 5 has changed too.
