Congratulations General Mackevili and his fiancé

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. It's time I update this!!

So, we had the engagement ceremony in Cambodia (as you know), and finally got married in the US! We went through the K1 visa process, and after a little paperwork here and there and a LOT of waiting, Mrs Mackevili has arrived in the States and we've already tied the knot with friends and family.

It's not even fall and she thinks it's 'freezing' here, so I can hardly wait to see what she thinks of winter, lol, as we'll definitely still be here for it. Covid slowed down the process quite a bit, and took about 12 months from the time we officially applied until she had her visa in hand. She's been here a couple of months already, so most of the busy work is done, and I should be online a bit more now.

And we've wasted no time...

Best news is that we already have a baby on the way!!!!

Congrats. My wife somehow loves the NYC winters, I’m the one that despises the cold.

Her application for citizenship will be going in a month, than the waiting once again begins. She arrived on k-1 in early 2018

Congratulations twice it seems too the both of you, best of luck and happiness.
The wedding photography is fantastic, it really is great news, and so good to hear good news in the world of the virus, take good care together.

Congratulations.
Buy her a nice wool hat. Khmer girls will wear it after giving birth but she might need one before that.
