Guilty as charged.

ZDNet, a tech website, writes about the filthiness of mobile phones, claiming that 60% of people have never cleaned their phones. I'm in the majority.

Included were some lovely pictures of bacteria and yeast cultures.

Motivated now to grab the disinfectant wipes and sterilize your phone?

I regularly clean it at the bar with a serviette just to degrease it.

A friend unlocked my phone once with my swipe pattern, (before finger print readers). I asked how he knew and he held the phone up to the light and twisted it around to reveal a greasy smear mark in a 'Z' pattern from top left to bottom right, as clear as day.

I've been cleaning the screen ever since.
