Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

The best way out of this madness will be if the virus becomes more like a common cold, easily transmitted but with relatively harmless symptoms. Let's hope this turns out to be true.

The anecdote from Dr (?) Coetzee has not calmed the authorities anywhere.
I can hear the doors slamming shut globally.

Since they closed travel from those African origins, they will close it from everywhere else that has it.
That looks like a lot of places now.

I am glad I don't have any international travels coming up soon. The world's a unreliable place these days.

I googled it and that was said but it was followed by saying its too early to tell but in a few weeks they should know more. That is exactly the reason for the travel restrictions. Act with caution until we know more.

I was planning on a trip to KOW on next friday, but due to very expensive airline tickets and 3-4 connections I have been hessitant. This new strain of the virus and the following travel restrictions being rolled out does not help my travel plans.

Better stay at home and get some extra hours in the snow plow/ lumber business that I can use for extra vacation time later. And I am guessing that I am not alone in thinking like this.

I strongly disagree with the knee jerk banning of flights and tightened entry restrictions

Politicians led by media noise is not strong governance at all

Covid circus

AFAIK it's not just media noise, there's some scientific info as well.
The problem is the scientific info is far from complete, but with most Western countries in the northern hemisphere facing rapid growth of hospital admissions I can understand the precautions.
Just imagine what a seriously overwhelmed healthcare would mean. Triage followed by sedation instead of treatment for some, maybe for many. The army would have to guard the hospital staff.

I am sure global governments will take note of your opinion in policy formation.
Meanwhile we will have to rely on published news no matter how tainted by deep state propaganda designed to somehow enslave humanity in a vast communist plot.
