Let's get really scared - everything that you expect from a horror movie.
What is the deadly ‘black fungus’ seen in Covid patients in India?
Usually very rare, mucormycosis has a high mortality rate and is difficult to treat

A rare “black fungus” that invades the brain is being increasingly seen in vulnerable patients in India, including those with Covid-19, as the health system continues to struggle in the midst of the pandemic.
The health ministry on Sunday released an advisory on how to treat the infection. In the state of Gujarat, about 300 cases had been reported in four cities, including Ahmedabad, according to data from state-run hospitals.
The infection, called mucormycosis, “is very serious, has a high mortality, and you need surgery and lots of drugs to get on top of it once it takes hold”, said Prof Peter Collignon, who sits on the World Health Organization’s expert committee on antibiotic resistance and infectious diseases.
The disease is caused by a group of moulds, called mucormycetes, that live throughout the environment including in soil and on plants. Mucormycosis is seen throughout the world, including in the US and Australia. It can be acquired in hospitals – most commonly by vulnerable transplant patients – when the moulds get on hospital linens, travel through ventilation systems, or are transmitted on adhesives.
“They’re a family of fungus that gets into your sinuses and deposit there, and they can get into the air spaces in your head,” Collignon said. “And when your immune system can’t keep them under control they invade the base of your brain where it becomes a real problem, and really very serious.

i'm afraid fauci is lying, or at least being disingenuous
the funding was not direct
i'll post this again, it's a little biased, but a good summary of some of the 'evidence' we do have

India Struggles to Keep Pace With Coronavirus Variants
India has become a perfect proving ground for the virus to hatch new mutants. What happens there will eventually happen here (wherever you happen to be.)
“Super-spreading events lit up like sparks, leading to a big fire. That could be crowding indoors with no Covid-appropriate behavior, rallies, all these things added up,” said Dr. Vasanthapuram. “On to that cauldron you drop a mutant. Naturally it is going to increase transmission in the community.”

He is lying and he knows he's lying. And what is worse is that the sub-agency that this funding was routed through (to the Wuhan lab) is run by the one American that was on the WHO investigation team! So basically he went to investigate himself! He's also the guy that organized the famous letter from several leading scientists saying the virus came from nature..... which has never really been challenged by the media as a result.

England's infection rate has fallen by half to 0.1% of the population from 0.2% since March in ongoing surveys by the Imperial College London. Either of those numbers is impressive.
Note:

Headline: England’s coronavirus infections halved since March, study findsThe study does not cover Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, which each have their own case tracking.
https://www.reuters.com/world/uk/englan ... 021-05-12/The REACT study is one of the biggest COVID-19 surveys of its kind in England, with over 127,000 volunteers tested in England between 15 April and 3 May in the latest round.
Overall, national prevalence in England dropped to 0.1% from 0.2% in March. The estimated prevalence is similar across regions of England. Infections are highest among 25-34 year olds at 0.21%, and lowest in the over-75s at 0.05%, the study found.

And the UK has the Indian variant now growing in numbers. We are going to find out just how bad that is over the next few months.
Thanks Boris, another month of dithering as hundreds of planes stuffed full of tens of thousands of Indians flocking into the UK and being allowed to 'self-isolate' at home with a house full of family. Nice one.

Repatriation flight seats left empty after Australians test postive for COVID-19 in India
About half of the seats on a repatriation flight set to leave India will be left empty after Australians who were supposed to be coming home tested positive for COVID-19.
Key points:
More than 40 people have tested positive, meaning they and their close contacts cannot fly
The first repatriation flight from India after the travel ban is due to arrive in Darwin tomorrow
Officials say pre-flight testing rules means it is difficult to fill the empty seats with other people
The flight had a capacity of just 150 passengers, due to social distancing restrictions, but more than 70 will be unable to fly.

Re: Following the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak - News and Discussion
The state of Goa in India is starting a programme of Ivermectin distribution to all adults, to be used as a preventative of Covid. This could be massively important for countries that cannot yet get enough vaccines.
There has been swift response from the WHO and BigPharma (Merck). They both condemned the move, making highly questionable statements about safety etc.
Merck does not produce a vaccine so presumably they are doing a favour for their fellow companies. It would look a bit too obvious if Pfeizer made the statement.
John Campbell covers the story from 6:30 in his video of yesterday.
