Kampot Guest House Puts Out Alert for Stolen Motorbike

A 50-year-old US man is being sought by a Kampot guest house in connection with a motorbike that he hired from them and has not returned. In case it was simply an oversight, the renter is asked to contact the guest house to sort out the problem.

However, the American has a passport, so it's also possible that he may have already sold the motorbike and left Cambodia.

Who would he sell it to? Surely the locals would be able to locate the stolen item, or probably already have.

As the guesthouse already admitted, this is their mistake. They gave him the passport back before getting the moto. They bypassed their own prevention measure against this theft and this is the price they pay. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

So you think becuase the guest house made an mistake in trusting a customer they should not try to track him down and recover their propery and money owed? :facepalm:

how old is that police report? it says he is 50 years old but in the police report he is 37

If you click on the picture album, you can see they were taken on January 23rd, 2008, so 12 years ago.
