I know they've cracked down in recent years and you need extra docs unless you're retrement age.
Was just wondering if it's relaxed a little in recent times.
Like how hard would it be to get 1 year extensions as a 'freelancer' after the 6 month EG extension is finished?
I've not heard much chatter about it for ages.
It's almost impossible to stay in Thailand these days.
Anyone got any news?

Obtaining long term Visa Extensions of Stay require justification, supporting documentation is required.
There are still plenty of dodgy agents who will create a fake employment letter in order to illegally obtain a 1 yr EB EOS for you though. Buyer beware.

you might get a lot of resistance from the competition at GSMSiemReapRoddy wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2019 9:16 pm I know they've cracked down in recent years and you need extra docs unless you're retrement age.

They charge additional money for the letter now, on top of the ~$300 for the visa. But it's still a perfectly valid visa.

Asking here. Is it possible to get tourist visa 30 days+30 days extension many time in passport? After that going visit Thailand (maybe one or two week) and come back again 30+30? etc...
Re: Is it still hard to get a long term Cambodian visa?
I was told you can arrive and get an Ordinary Visa for 1 month, extend for 6 months, leave and come back rinse repeat.
Is this no longer possible?

What do you write in the purpose of visit to get an Ordinary visa if the real purpose is just being a long-term tourist?

I have never seen him give a bum steer - ever.
People say I am a mug because I use Lucky Lucky and spend a lousy few bucks extra for service, but the ladies down there have always delivered in quick style, no bullshit follow the law manner.
Mish prefers business, beer and ladies than the intricacies of Khmer Paperwork.
