Woman in Por Senchey Dies of Drug Overdose

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On December 24, 2019, at 5 am, a 34-year-old woman, Sorn Sarath, was found dead in Kampea Organization building, on street 2002, Sangkat Katab2, Khan Porsenchey, Phnom Penh.

The security man said the victim came to live in the organization on December 9, 2019. She was suffering from asthma and depression. She always used a lot of medicine.
In the early morning of December 24, at 5 am, a man named Hen Sarun was preparing his paperwork, when suddenly, he heard the victim crying out for help from her room. He went to her room and saw the victim was extremely ill, so he tried to help her, but she passed away. The man reported the decease to the police immediately.

According to the examination by the specialist police, Dr. Norng Sovannaroth concluded that the victim died of a heart attack caused by a drug overdose. The body was taken to Pochentong pagoda. RIP.
