Primary School Teacher Found Murdered in Battambang

Battambang province, Cambodia Breaking News: On December 16, 2019, a woman primary school teacher was found dead in Boeung Run village, Samlot commune, Battambang province.
The victim was identified as Aun Chantha, a teacher at Ampil village, who was married with one child. She was last seen at the school by pupils who left at 11am. Police are treating the case as suspected murder, and an autopsy is underway.

Battambang, Cambodia News: The victim's husband has been arrested on suspicion of murder, and he was taken to the provincial police headquarters for questioning on the afternoon of 17 December.
The suggested motive for the murder is jealousy.

The woman's body was found by villagers in a wasteland next to a warehouse in Boeung Run village, around 5pm on 16 December 2019.
