Cambodia News (Banteay Meanchey): On December 11-12, 2019, Poipet police arrested a group of 5 robbers in Poipet city. The suspects, all teenagers, were identified as Pich Silang, a 17-year-old boy, Aok Reaksmie, a 17-year-old boy, Seng Linh, a 17-year-old boy, Noun Vev, a 17-year-old boy, and Keo Makara, a 17-year-old boy.

The suspects confessed that they used to snatch phones as well as threaten Chinese people with knives and rob them, and have often committed robberies on street 999 and national road 5, in Poipet.

After the arrest and some questioning from police, the suspects showed the police where they lived, and the police found a lot of weapons that the suspects used to commit crimes. They used the weapons to threaten the victims, and they acted like drug addicts.

The suspects were sent to the department of anti-drug. The police prepared their case for submitting to the court.
