Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

How the hell is Donald Trump going to help them if they don't write it in English so he can read it.

I was in a situation like this once. It was amazing how many of the workers were prepared to keep working for free rather then rock the boat.

Is this a consequence of the online gambling ban ?
So many casinos in Sihanoukville now that the competition must be fierce. Chinese workers with no job will go back to China, but what about the Cambodian casino workers ?

It must be terrible for them, but if the boss has absconded they might just have to forget about it.

Apparenlty all staff are now meant to be paid fortnightly. My Khmer friemd workls for the government and they have switched to fortnightly as well.
Disappearing witht the money is a common occurence in certain industries and amongst certain nationalitles. It is time the governemnt made these businesses keep 1 months payroll on deposit, like a witholding tax
