In Phnom Penh you go to the national blood bank next to Khmer Soviet hospital. Very clean and professional I go quarterly myself.

In addition to the national blood bank mentioned above (which is where the place PIEMAN mentioned moved to), you can donate at Kantha Bopha up near Wat Phnom. You can only donate Monday - Friday up until 5pm I think, then mornings on Saturdays.

So is it a free donation, to give your blood in Cambodia?
Want Fast Cash? Paid Blood Donations Come to Canada
For many people, fast cash is a necessity. When the budget is tight, the idea of easy money is appealing, whether trying to sell stuff on craigslist, pick up an extra shift at work, or do an odd job.
Now Canadians can add another money source to the list: Paid blood donations.
Companies Start Paying for Blood Plasma Donations
In the United States, blood donors have long been paid for blood donations for the purpose of extracting plasma. South of the border, consumers can get between $25 and $50 per donation — and can go twice in a seven day period. If you are getting $50 for a plasma donation, and you go twice a week, that’s $400 a month. Not bad for fast cash.

Re: Cambodia blood donation ? red cross ? where can you give blood in Cambodia ?
Various paranoias aside; I have wondered about this for a while, in the aftermath of AndyKK and a few other expat cases. (esp, from an expat pov, albeit that I also have a Khmer family.)
Blood donations have at times been urgently requested, either for critical illness, surgery, or for accidents, among the expat community.
I gather from various threads that urgent blood transfusions may very well be dependent upon reciprocated donations, before receiving the vital donation.
Is there, or could there be, a method of recording donations, such that a case in urgent need were not delayed until such time as enough folk offer up a pint or two?
For what it’s worth, I’m A+. As is the little fella.
I have frequent and clear tests.
In the west, or anywhere when I’m on duty, I’m duty bound not to donate, legally. But that is based on the fact that that about 8 weeks is the recognised regular natural recovery/replenishment period required.
When I’m here, I’m more than able to present on arrival, donate a pint, and enjoy the lower bar bill.
