you have been to a thai hospital, Vladimir? that's where you disappeared to recently?

sure, thai hospitals may look better and be technically better equipped, due to more money available, but to call them any "good" is probably not correct.
better than Cambodia... might be ok to say.
they may look cleaner.

otherwise any country having no-prescription pharmacy beats the neat-looking-hospitals by far.

IMO, the hospitals I've been to in Bangkok - BH, Bumrumgrad, & Samitivej are as good as anything I've been to in the States. Do you think it's become one of the top spots for medical tourism because the care sucks ? Even the shitty state run hospitals are at a level above what you're talking about.

Thai provincial hospitals are pretty decent while the district ones can be helpful. I am very skeptical about the private ones based on painful experiences. Exactly the same BS like with Bangkok group hospitals in Cambodia.

For example, provincial hospitals offer good checkups at a fraction (10% or less) of what private ones charge. It is a very good idea to get your annual report in Thailand for 11 USD (incl. HIV etc) and have an idea about where you stand.

Yes, I have.

Fall in a shower, ambulance from hotel, painkillers, x -rays for lower back, bed in a ward, transport back to my hotel the next day, $12.

On another occasion, motorcycle accident, minor surgery, excellent service and very low cost, around $20.

Medical tourism is a biggie in Thailand. Many Americans travel business class every year, have ops, stay for a few weeks, all at far lower cost than in their 'homeland'.

Fuck medical capitalist greed.
Jesus loves you...Mexico is great, right? ;)
