Long-term consequences of Thai-Western marriage migration:transformations of women who partner older Westerners

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

I remember reading a post where the Cambodian woman greets the man at the door with a cup of ice tea that she has prepared to make him sleep for a week so he doesn’t notice the body she’s chopped up and hidden in the freezer.

I think the Thais just cut your dick off or make you jump from the balcony.

i was with a Thai gal who told me she drained her German lover's bank account of a great deal of money and then lost it a casino with a young farang.
She felt she was completely let off the hook because she told him....she was sorry...
I knew I was on the verge of becoming another chapter in Private Dancer if I didn't make a run for it..
I made a run for it and the whacky gal put out a red alert on her facebook page looking for her LOST FRIEND who has gone missing.... complete with pics of me....the hooks go deep and their schemes seem to never run out of steam...

I have a friend in the USA who brought his Thai wife back years ago...She got pissed when he gave her a new Lexus SUV and not a Mercedes...she then had a long affair with the plumber...the excuse was the same as in other posts...he was too old!
A very expensive divorce was the result.
The ex got what wives get in California....
But, it was not enough and she has wiggled her way back into his new house's spare bedroom...

I am sure there are wonderful Thai wives...
I admit my experience is not as in depth as other people.
I fell for an older Thai woman in the USA in the early 80s...I was her sex toy...She finally had to sit me down and just tell me...I did not have enough money.
Now, eat my pussy like I taught you...

What I really want to read is a doctoral dissertation on this subject by an ethnologist.
You could be next.

Even the review of the book reads like a doctoral dissertation.

Akin to drudgery of required work reading.

Now fun stuff to read.. Tiger Tracks and the Last Panther Commander both by Wolfgang Faust.
violence, sex, morally ambiguous choices, and outright war crimes. Rolled into about 100-200 pages.

Please continue the fascinating discussion of the differences between Thai better halves and Khmer better halves.
