It was all Dodgy Dave, Essex Paul, Mutoid Harry, Fat Matt, Shrimp, etc. We used a lot of code words too in communication. Because pagers, analog phones, text messages were all new at one stage we just took that bit more care. People have gotten used to modern communication and probably believe that with the huge amount of it going on they won't be noticed.
