My streetside barber used a Wahl-branded cape when he gave me my haircut today. All his clippers looked old though, couldn't tell what brands they were.

You have to watch out for the edges of the heads. That's where the damage is done with my philips.

When I lived here first I didn't bring that trimmer so I went to barbers. Some of them still used those hand trimmers, they were really painful.
I lost all the plastic levels for the Wahl long ago, and they are unnecessary when you are balding badly.
I sometimes stab myself in the head with those spiky edges and bleed.
It's all good, I gave up on hairstyles long before I lost any hair.

I finally found beard trimmers in abundance

at Mr. DIY store on the 4th floor of Sorya shopping center, right when you go in the front door. (If you say "clippers" to the helpers, they think you mean little metal nail clippers)

Most of them have the dsp brand -- odd that one brand makes so many varieties

I found one trimmer called "Dingle" It passed the blood test. about 14 bucks. Mr. DIY will give you 7 days with a product in which you can bring back for an exchange, not a refund.

Rumor is in Phnom Penh that if you just say you own a dingle, you get to the front of every line.

Just because I use a beard trimmer does not mean I am a hipster.

Thank you kindly Mr. Hipster :) I was going to look this Saturday but you saved me a lot of time.

The ladies always give good service - better than Wahl or Remington.

I haven't asked for a refund though...

Am I the only one who finds this a tad ironic?

I cant see the point of trimming and looking in the mirror to see my ugly self and the results of my half baked efforts. Leave it to the professionals.

Some brands will go blunt quickly. Some brands may last a long time. Report back in the future and tell us how good the brand you bought is.
