I eventually found something similar in a bike shop near russian market. $20 for knee and elbow pads

They also have something serviceable at the big stationery shop on monivong - ucb?-- near Charles de Gaulle

on the second floor. They have everything.

So this problem has been solved.
When I need advice about life, I just check in here.
