I damaged a c-note...

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. I damaged a c-note...

Post by jovial fucher »

I put a hundred dollars in a cup holding a pen and the pen leaked. Now, I have two small splotches of ink on a c-note I can't spend.

I recall several years ago someone mentioning a bank that would exchange these. After using the search function, I can't find the thread.

Does anyone know the bank, or A bank where I could change this? :hattip:

Thanks, guys. Casino, here I come. Maybe I can double it on the way out the door. :beer3:

For information purposes, any other places out there? Money changers? Banks?

I have had the same problem twice.

1) My son ripped up a 100 when he was small after raiding the cupboard
2) A downpour wet my cheap wallet causing the dye to stain around 300$ worth of notes

Both times I went to Acleda on Veng Sreng Street and received good service.

Signed the papers along with my passport photocopies and phone number and obtained some crispy new notes.

I do not have an account there BTW.
