D.I. Riviera Homeowner's Open Group

Looking for an apartment to rent in Phnom Penh? We have you covered. This is a good starting point for expats who are in the process of moving to Cambodia to live and work. Finding a villa, condo, flat, or borey to stay in when you arrive is probably one of your top priorities. Check out our listings from the community! And if you have a house or apartment for rent, you're welcome to list it here for free. Kampot, Siem Reap, Battambang, Sihanoukville, and other provinces around Cambodia also have places to rent, but you might have better luck finding them on foot after you arrive, as the largest number of listings are in the capital city of Phnom Penh.

Zhong Ao is the management group that has the office on the second floor.
But they are involved with managing what is already built.

JIXIANG INVESTMENT CAMBO Co., is the developer that was brought in.

https://www.compass.com.kh/development/ ... ng/en.html

It would be soooo fine if these condos were worth the 3300 per meter that the
compass website claims.

The future return to the OWNERS of the PROJECT, and the return to the owners
of the condos, is in up-zoning the project. Hotel conversion, Time Share,
Office Park, Marina.

The money is probably gone. If any more building takes place there needs
to be a plan that shows it is not throwing good money after money gone bad.

I see that the other condos nearby have also shut down. Maybe it is general malaise?

Oh I miss my old home towns in Kehei and Kalakekua.

There used to be a radio program on Maui that was called sunset hour.
I liked that they would play a mix. I don't like trying to find songs one by one.

There is something happening here

What it is ain't exactly clear.

Onshore below the blue boat, drilling is going on.

Like a huge project coming up. Over the rainbow. Riviera will be worth a fortune.

Thanks RR!

It looks very big. From Riviera all along the shoreline covering what was
the night market.

Whatever happened to Florida. He was the apartment guru. Last time I saw him he was exiting the Walkabou with two hookers. Must have been six or seven years ago.

What a nightmare.
I read these posts of people wbo have sunk money into condos and their building has not been started or their floor was cancelled.
I see so much construction and always new announcements. I stay Riverside a few times a year and like to have a balcony on the Tonle Sap.
I have watched buildings go up and stop, new ones begin, green construction netting fade in the sun and rain. Along the road from PP to Kampong Cham I see all of these housing cities springing up and wonder who the hell is going to live there. Every week another Billion dollar Hotel is announced. It reminds me of these videos some lads made on motorcycles in china with go pro helmet cams of cities without any occupants...buildings with 1 occupant.
I call it the Monster..the chinese monster that cannot stop ...it must keep building new even if they don't finish old.
In Siem Reap there are so many places that have gone broke and new ones taking their place.
Incredible hotels on the way to the airport and now they are building a new airport.
I just hope and pray all of you who have invested get your places or money back.
But, it seems, the reality is it is a pipe dream.
