What do you call the type of semi-long life milk they sell here?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

"Most people don't even know where milk comes from". What? I have no data but I am guessing you are dead wrong on this one.

When we were in kampot last month, his Lordship liked butch mill milk, said it was a lot better than the shitty fresh milk at home. When I was a kid and going to school, we got i think 300ml of milk everyday to drink at morning tea, and you had to drink it before you went of to play, we use to take flavoured straws and Milo to help the milk to go down. Oh those were the days

When I was a kid in Devon you could tell when the cattle changed to their winter diet of mangel wurzels (giant swedes), the free school milk was revolting. I also remember in the early 1950's that during school holidays you could still go to the school to drink your free milk every day.

When I was a kid in the 70's. free school milk was still the case. Until Thatcher Thatcher the Milk Snatcher arrived on the scene.

When I was a kid there were a couple of old enamel mugs hanging on a nail in the cow shed and if you wanted a drink of milk it was self serve. Delivery time from the cow to the mug, to the time you drank it was less than one minuet and it was always warm milk. Looking back 65 years ,,, I cannot remember what it tasted like but it must have been good cause there was always a dog and two cats that were hanging around waiting for any leftovers.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Cambodians know where it comes from.
