A complaint by a woman ? That could mean any number of things. Any further information ? Were the police involved ?
They should have said what happened straight out. It could be nothing much at all, but against Australian team rules, or it could be a lot more hairy.
By saying nothing, we can only imagine... the worst... LOL

“Sources with knowledge of what occured have confirmed one of the players made contact with a woman through Tinder while in Cambodia and provided her with tickets to watch one of the team's matches at the AFC Under-23 Championship qualifying tournament in March.
“On the final night the player invited her to the team hotel, where she had consensual sex with the four players.”

While Wilson, McGree, Atkinson and Wales were in Cambodia in March, one player communicated with a lady via Tinder, invited her into the hotel, and she had consensual sex with them. She then complained they kicked her out after seeking assurances no photos were taken

Right. Hardly the crime of the century, but reflects badly on the team.flanostu wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 4:50 pm “Sources with knowledge of what occured have confirmed one of the players made contact with a woman through Tinder while in Cambodia and provided her with tickets to watch one of the team's matches at the AFC Under-23 Championship qualifying tournament in March.

Paid with free tickets ? Where does it say that ? I assumed that she was paid, but maybe not enough.Phnom Poon wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 6:22 pmI'd sayAnchor Moy wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 5:08 pm Right. Hardly the crime of the century, but reflects badly on the team.

Or maybe the stupid kids thought it was for free, because they are handsum footballers and in Australia the girls are throwing themselves at them. Who knows. Plenty of scenarios possible.

Australian soccer legend Robbie Slater slams banne toward four Olyroos following Tinder incident
November 20, 2019
Robbie Slater spoke on Big Sports Breakfast on Wednesday calling the lengthy suspensions an ‘absolute disgrace’ saying it’s not fair on the young men.
‘I mean spare me, give me a break, the guys have made a mistake they have done the wrong thing.
‘But geez the punishment fitting the crime I don’t think so and i don’t think anyone reasonable would think the same thing.’
According to reports, the players matched with a Cambodian woman on Tinder during the qualifying rounds of the AFC championship in March.
They offered her tickets to one of their games and hosted her at their hotel on their final night.
There is no suggestion of assault – but the woman was said to be upset that she had been left stranded in the hotel.
She then complained to the Australian Embassy that there may be videos or photos of her during the encounter.
She withdrew that complaint but the matter had already been referred to Sport Australia and the Football Federation Australia.
A seven-month investigation found that the players broke a curfew imposed by their coach Graham Arnold.

Offered a ticket to one of their games? What's that worth? 10,000 Riel?
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Yeah reflects badly on the team especially after the recent work the FFA have done with pay equality and everything. Fair enough penalty imo. Leicester players had a similar incident a few years back, they were let go from the team from memory.Anchor Moy wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 5:08 pmRight.
