Just a reminder
Quote,,,
“Cintri employees will not work from September 27-29 during the Pchum Ben festival because they have to return to their hometowns in the provinces. This creates some complications for garbage collection and transportation.
“Residents, business people, and citizens . . . please kindly understand the situation. Please stow your waste responsibly in your homes during this time and do not throw rubbish on public streets,” a letter from the Phnom Penh Municipal Hall said.

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

The streets seem to be permanently full of piles of crap or the stinking remnants of recently removed piles. With much of the population out of town for the weekend the state of the place might improve slightly.

Re: Just a reminder
I live along a main highway; every morningI have to pick up the litter from cretonus bastards who confuse an open vehicle window for a wastebasket.
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.
Re: Just a reminder

Always "hope" but never "expect".
