Do not put your words in my mouth, H-8hunter8 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 6:03 pmThere, i fixed it for you.SternAAlbifrons wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 5:23 pm ...all the spoiled brats who, instead of working like their fathers and grandfathers, rather jump at socialist ideas like universal basic income waiting to be spoon-fed like the infantiles they are, doing nothing useful.
So, we can blame the kids now - for the economic collapse of the west, the decay of its moral values and work ethic, and the rise of China.
Holy Flock, i wonder who bought up the little bastards?? They sure didn't do very good job. nor set a very attractive role model, it seems...

What does someone have when they have an opinion of the messenger and not the message?

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Nothing is new under the sun.Phnom Poon wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 6:17 pmfor whose benefit?
i'd say young people (and potentially everyone) have a much clearer view of how the system really works
and have decided it's shit
What i mean is young people of the west have been late to the party. What they want has already been tried and rejected in the 20th century by asian young kids. Why do you think many asians have been trying so hard to escape to capitalist America for the last 60 years? Vaccination against left ideas comes at a cost of millions of lives lost and unimaginable suffering. It may be it is the West’s turn now.

High context thinking. Quite common globally.

In terms of doing business that beats brainwashed uneducated western kids, who, if they studied history, would know where those ideas will take them. But their senior manipulators would not tell them.clutchcargo wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 7:06 pmTrue, they brought up a predictable, non free thinking, brainwashed generation of lemmings instead.

China has thus far managed to avoid trans kids.clutchcargo wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 7:06 pmTrue, they brought up a predictable, non free thinking, brainwashed generation of lemmings instead.

Strange when I was in China last year I met so many kids trying to imitate western style. They called themselves cutesy western names and danced to western music. Not so different after all!!Big Daikon wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 7:24 pmChina has thus far managed to avoid trans kids.clutchcargo wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 7:06 pmTrue, they brought up a predictable, non free thinking, brainwashed generation of lemmings instead.
My entire life can be summed up in one sentence:
"Well that didnt go as planned".
"Well that didnt go as planned".

Did they take puberty blockers, go massively in student loan debt and burn down the Wendy's? That's the real Western style.Teddy1 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 7:40 pmStrange when I was in China last year I met so many kids trying to imitate western style. Re: Greta Thunberg's climate change speech
Sniggering at Greta and snarling at the the kids.
yawn
..anyway, this kind of petty flack and static is at the margins these days.
The real battle front is a million miles away and the tide is definitely shifting the kid's way.
Sorry, but you/us old dinasours are already freeze dried dead, bogged solid in the sparkling salt pans and baking naked under a sizzling noon day sun.
In cactus country. (so to be speak)
