What's wrong in PP at the moment?

Hey

Arrived today immigration went fine but after the odd things started:

Taxi hustlers all wanted 20$ to go to riverside, never seen this always 10+tip or 12 without. No discussion about the price

They try to force you to use a tuktuk -> know about the snatching

Telling me there is no Atm we can stop on the way (there are 8 just outside the building)

All tuktuk drivers ask impossible rates for tobacco replacement....

What the hell has changed in 6month?

I was at the airport a few times recently. The drivers around there are a bit mercenary. They are hoping not just to drive you but to entice you to stay at their friend's hotel etc, be your tour guide etc. They defend their territory.

Pchum Ben was to me also the only reason logic as everyone was really insisting on their prices...

If somebody around Riverside could help me out I would be quiet happy

I use passap outside and mever had a problem... Ignore the blokes outside nand walk a few meters/yardsfrom the entrance.. never had a problem

Ignored them after.

I know what I have to pay and I can walk a few meters so I took the train hassle free and walked to the hotel.

Regular visitor so I am fine with.
But newcomers need to pay attention...

Also on Riverside girls approaching you and when you say thank you the say "we will kill you"

Just kept walking on being sure nobody is behind me to empty my pockets.

Seems to be 2skinny girls and one guy, think I have seen them later again on 130st.

It’s sad how these drivers complain and whine about how tragic their loss of income to Grab & PassApp is. Yet they are directly responsible for the increasing demand to use the platforms over traditional drivers. Instead of fixing their behavior they just get more aggressive and push people even further away. They are literally shooting themselves in the foot with this shit.
