Maybe stick to unseating your own communist government karmageddon.
Please note that since the fall of the Gang of Four, the Communist Party of New Zealand has taken a firmly anti-Mao/pro-Albania flavour under the leadership of Jacinda Ardern.
"After the fall of the Gang of Four, the CPNZ leadership, supported by ten of the twelve branches of the CPNZ, rejected the policies of the post-Mao China leadership, in particular the “theory of three worlds” and came out in support of the line of the Party of Labour of Albania."
Fascinating article here on the strength of Anti-Revisionism resolve in NZ's ruling party..

What a load of old bollocks. Either you are being deliberately obtuse or you dont have the slightest clue about NZ politics. I favour the latter but am prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt bearing in mind I dont know you and you could well be a senile old fart who has spent too long in the sun.

The coin holders are telling them to propagate fear as it damages their earnings.
Slow down little world, you're changing too fast.

Re: Vote GOP or America will end up with Pol Pot running the country
Well, that was quite a reaction to my offering, but it is noted that none of my detractors rebuffed the points I made. Rather, they shot off on obtuse angles.
Look at clips from Cambodia, 1969.
Look at the cheerful faces.
No way could those innocents have imagined the unimaginable that would unfold just a handful of years into the future.
Or that it would be conducted by their own countrymen.
I did not start this topic or theme.
I simply made quick, off the top of my head comparisons in response to it.
Those comparisons appear to have caused the usual suspects some discomfort.
Will those characters now rebuff my comparisons, and in doing so provide justification for their attacks on my list, or will they persist with distractions?
P.S. I thought of a few more valid comparisons through yesterday.
I should have jotted them down because now only one remains in my mind:
- to conceal your true intentions, pretend to be GREEN when really you are RED. Do this by creating an existential threat and offer yourselves as the only viable saviors. With the removal of Sihanouk, con the peasants into the mind-set that without a ruling royal figurehead then how could the country continue to exist as such? How could the rains continue to fall? ... the crops continue to grow?
It is the 'Watermelon Tactic': green on the outside, but red inside. It was how Hanoi conned the outside world and its own people, by pretending to be nationalists when the reality was an intent to turn all of Indochina Red under Hanoi's domain and emplace it in the Soviet global orb.
AOC's chief of staff has admitted that her Green New Deal has nothing to do with Climate Change and everything to do with imposing a new economic order on the United States. Ban fossil fuels and airplanes and cars. Back to Year Zero.

Re: Vote GOP or America will end up with Pol Pot running the country
She might have some policies that seem extreme, let's just have a look at the first ones I got off a Google search, I have no real idea how accurate this is:
Compare this with:Ocasio-Cortez advocates a progressive platform that includes Medicare for all, a federal jobs guarantee, a proposed Green New Deal, abolishing the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, free public college and trade school, and a 70% marginal tax rate for incomes above $10 million.
Karmageddon, you're a fascinating poster, but you don't seem capable of thinking outside very black & white terms, this is something we have argued about for years. Just because someone advocates a national health system does not mean they want everyone who disagrees with them to die in a gulag. Similarly, not everyone who is into far-right politics necessarily wants everyone who disagrees with them to be exterminated in a concentration camp. It's useful to be able to differentiate.Pol Pot advocates a progressive platform that includes jungle medicine for all, a guarantee of a 16 hour a day job in a work camp, a proposed 5 year program, abolishing any free movement or communication with foreign nations, free self-criticism and propaganda sessions, and absolutely no right to any form of property, not even a spoon.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

".. any dumb-arse Khmer peasant who actually swallowed the pre-1975 Khmer Rouge bullshit.."
Karma, the reason it was so easy for the "dumb-arse peasants" to swallow the bullshit was that every right minded person in the country became appalled, terrified and pissed off with the illegal and unconscionable US campaign of carpet bombing innocent villages.
The KR could not have grown from a few thousand in '69 to complete victory in '75 without R Nixon and H Kissinger.
( IMO only
.. and the general consensus of history)

It was the corrupt elite that gave rise to the KR!

Re: Vote GOP or America will end up with Pol Pot running the country
In a sense, yes.
But they had a corrupt elite for a long long time before that.
Sure, there had been some kick back from the citizenery, but it was not until 1970 that the tide started turning in terms of serious armed revolt by masses of the population.
The people did not cross that line because of any leftist arguments against the corrupt ruling elite. Or any politics at all.
The touch stone was the bombing - and when the ruling powers corruption and other excesses turned seriously deadly (for every single cambodian) when they fully signed up to america's war.
Not to mention that the bombing and other war induced chaos allowed the KR to win tactically.
imo
