PHNOM PENH BARS ??

This is the part of the forum where we discuss Cambodia's nightlife! While most bars, nightclubs, pubs, beer gardens, and hostess bars are in Phnom Penh, we discuss the Cambodian nightlife across all of Cambodia, including Siem Reap, Kampot, and Sihanoukville. The main nightlife areas in Phnom Penh are on Street 136, Street 130, Street 110 and Street 51, but there are other party spots that aren't girlie bars where expats, tourists, and locals drink until the sun comes up. Feel free to post specials and promotions that relate to nighttime fun!

Those ld are more than phuket or pattaya bars. Wtf!!!!
Yep. As I said - it was $1.25 before and the standard 3.5$ lady drinks.

Next day after my unexpectedly large tab I slunk back to the beer gardens.

I went two nights ago. The pole was in use again which was a plus.
Well I went there, the pole still stayed unoccupied after 10pm. One of the ladies told me it will get busy when ladies get a few drinks and be less shy and there will be more customers. Sounded way past my bedtime by the looks of it and I had to retreat after an hour of waiting. Note to myself to check it out when insomnia strikes.

The price hike for the lady drinks may have put the punters off and the ladies stay shy.

The shows I saw were good. Certainly enough to request one lady's number - for future reference - for a friend.

Used to be a bar called, i think, cheerleaders back in 09 off 136. Owner got busted for pimping and did time. He had a pole for dancing

Girls love to dance but got to get them half shit faced first....personally, id never pay $5.50 for a ld.
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Yeah, '09 had a big crack down. They even instituted a ban on girls dancing on the bar top, iirc.

I'm glad I got to see that before it stopped.

There's nothing like being sidled up to a bar, stiff drink in hand, and having a half dozen stunning Khmer girls on the bar dancing the Madizon in perfect unison.

Ahhh, memories

I never wanted to - it was sprung as a surprise when the tab came.

It's off the Mishmash list. Pole or no Pole.

Sorry if anyone on here got mislead by previous reviews.

It was good for a time - popular too - bit of a cut above.

Originally the "Beaver Bar" had grotto sort of seating area too. Good times.

There is or at least used to be a pole in the bar on the corner of 136 on Neil’s side. Sorry, the exact name escapes me.
