PHNOM PENH BARS ??

This is the part of the forum where we discuss Cambodia's nightlife! While most bars, nightclubs, pubs, beer gardens, and hostess bars are in Phnom Penh, we discuss the Cambodian nightlife across all of Cambodia, including Siem Reap, Kampot, and Sihanoukville. The main nightlife areas in Phnom Penh are on Street 136, Street 130, Street 110 and Street 51, but there are other party spots that aren't girlie bars where expats, tourists, and locals drink until the sun comes up. Feel free to post specials and promotions that relate to nighttime fun!

I may be guilty of rumor mongering, but the complainers are guilty of another kind of mongering.

Must be some friend if you have to investigate the veracity of his statement by asking a bunch of strangers on CEO.

And no one's guilty of any kind of mongering frank lee bent, because there was nothing there to monger, thanks to your wild goose chase.

I'll be sending you an itemized bill for wasted petrol and tyre wear.

 very few strangers mate.
I know many if not most of the posters here irl.

Note that my post was a question rather than a statement.

I'm thinking Frank was on some kind of commission deal to boost a failing bar where not even freelancers go.

The reports are pretty grim but sales are up...

I still enjoyed the place and it ticks all the boxes to welcome hordes of freelancers (location, large size, great seatings, pool, music, rooms above, etc). Maybe not enough customers -> girls stop wasting their time. I don’t know, I’m not a bar expert.

Good for you...maybe you should have asked them..."irl".

Yes, frank lee bent, I know....it was just odd to me that you'd hear something from a "friend" yet still need to verify his statement on a web forum.

If good ole MishMash told me a place was swimming with soiled doves....I'd take him at his word and not feel the need to query others.

I think frank comes from the Reagan school. Lol

I was guilty of touting Jacky's.

I went two nights ago. The pole was in use again which was a plus.

Sadly they upped the beer prices since my last outing which I only discovered when the tab came in.

$1.75 for a cold beer and the lady drinks $5.50.

Nice girls though.

Patient and polite enough to wait for an offer of a drink.

Ahh, thanks for the reminder....I've got this on my to-do list. I've got to see this pole in use before the competent authorities have it removed for violating the majesty and sanctity of Khmer culture.

I was there on Friday too. FLB should get a commission on the $10 we’ve collectively spent.
