The escort industry in Bangkok is booming with new agencies opening all the time. Some of the Chinese speaking girls that were freelancing at the Manhattan club in Phnom Penh were getting $50/night back in the late '90's I knew two girls quite well that worked two or three times a week there and made around $600-700 per month. One girl I knew who worked at the old Club Blue regularly got $100/night off an Indian customer. That would be about 5 years ago.

I'm sure Stickman has cleaned up the English. He claims to be fluent in Thai, so the "interview" was for sure conducted in Thai.

I doubt he's making it up as much as making it read so clean and crisp to the readers.

He has put the website up for sale as you certainly know, and is leaving Thailand. You always have to be careful reading his weekly column as he plays up to advertisers in a very blatant way. Take his favorite "bar owner", "Big Andy" of Club Blue as an example. Having seen said Andy here in Pattaya on several occasions I can assure he's nothing but a pimp in shining armor. Yet when reading Stickman one would get the impression it's a fancy club without prostitution.

As for this "escort" business model, again don't be fooled. All it takes is a phone and a camera and you are in "business" pimping and charging triple upwards. I also noticed the three ladies look like they are in there 30's which while okay for me, most "businessmen" are looking for younger girls. Bangkok is a very big city and has a lot of travelers passing through and therefore a demand for escort service. But bottom line again, for those new, it's just prostitution made out to be something else.

ps: Most men refuse to wear condoms contrary to what the "escorts" and "bar owners" on here might tell you. If they want the big money, bareback is the way it's going to be, and I mean finish inside her. No one pays like I say, triple upwards for the facade(makeup) of a model and uses a condom. Rubber dolls are much cheaper and in many cases, more fun, especially when it comes to these dinner dates.
