Noodle Seller Hacked to Death by her Son-in-Law
(04 Sep 2019 7:53 pm)
Kompong Thom province, Cambodia Breaking News: A 51-year-old widow, who was working as a noodle seller, was found dead at 6:00 am on September 4, 2019, at her home in Trapeang Chrey village, Kampong Thom province.
The suspected killer is the woman's son-in-law, who is accused of hacking her to death with an axe, because he was angry that his wife had to go to Thailand to work. The suspect has been arrested and is being questioned by police.
The victim was looking after the couple's two young children while the mother was away. It appears that she put the children to bed as usual and went to sleep, but during the night the son-in-law came with an axe to kill her. The neighbors heard the children crying at 5am and went to see what was the matter; they found the victim and called the authorities.
RIP.
