Clothes and shoes don’t care about bouncing along dusty, pot riddled roads. Sewing and cutting can be done by hand or pedal power when the power goes off for 10-12 hrs at a time, for weeks at a time.
But the power machinery to make furniture? And the assembly robots for game consoles? And how well does expensive furniture as well as expensive game consoles due on bumpy roads?
Maybe this will be impetus for a more stable power grid and better roads soon.
