Vagrant Arrested for Stealing a Bunch of Coconuts

Cambodia Breaking News (Kandal): On September 2, 2019, at 1:05 pm, a 25-year-old male drug addict, Lot Phearum, was arrested for stealing a bunch of coconuts and some other items from a farm in Prek Anchanh village, Takmao city, Kandal. The victim was Beng Suncheiv, the owner of the farm.

Before the incident, the suspect went to the farm and stole the coconuts and other farm items. He was caught red-handed by the victim, and local people helped to detain the suspect immediately. He was sent to the police station. The suspect confessed the crime and told the police that he had been a drug user for a long time.

The police confiscated a bunch of coconuts, a water pump motor, and a cable.

Mango Thief Arrested

Cambodia Breaking News (Kandal): A 27-year-old man, Ton Vy, was arrested for stealing mangoes at a mango farm on September 14, 2019, at 9:33 pm, in Kean Svay district, Kandal. The owner of the farm was identified as Sun Sokna, a 33-year-old farmer.

That evening, the victim was looking after his mango farm when he saw that the suspect with a light on his head was picking his mangoes and putting them in his boat. He returned home and reported the theft to the police.

On September 15, at 07:10 am, the police arrested the suspect with the evidence. The suspect confessed the crime, and he said that he had stolen other people's mangoes at least 20 times already. He also admitted to using drugs. The suspect was sent to the police station following the legal procedure.
