Cambodia News, (Pursat) : Kandieng District Governor cracked down on gambling at the house of Hem Mony, a 46-year-old female resident of Prolay Thom Village, Veal Commune, Kandieng District, Pursat Province, 12 July 2021.
According to the report of the Kandieng District Police Inspectorate, the four perpetrators who were arrested by police are as follows.
1. Name: Hem Mony (landlady).
2. Name: Chea Samoeun, female, 63 years old, Khmer,
3. Name: Ou Sopheak, male, 31 years old, Khmer,
4. Name: Yin Bithy, male, 30 years old, Khmer.
All four live in Prolay Thom village, Veal commune, Kandieng district, Pursat province.
According to the report, the police seized 307 pieces of wood, 10 sticks, 3 pairs of shoes, 1 red mat, 1 blanket, 1 MacVivo mobile phone and cash money, Khmer R 41,000 (about US$10).

Maybe uses sticks instead of money and parked moto somewhere else in case of a raid, no cash or moto's lost.

Police arrest 4 gambling addicts and bring them to the education station

Cambodia News, (Pursat): According to the Ministry of Interior, on August 2, 2021, at 3:10pm, five O'Tapong police officers raided a gambling place under a tree in Bot Koki Thmey village, O Tapong commune, Pursat province.
According to the report of the Bakan District Police Inspectorate, the addicted gamblers arrested were four middle-aged women from the village: 1. Tuy Voeun, female, 58 years old, 2. Lay Et, female, 57 years old, 3. Khim Phally, female, 35 years old. 4-Name is Nhon Phon, female, 51 years old.
According to the police report, the authorities found some damning evidence at the scene, including: 1 deck of 52 cards - 1 rug - 3 pairs of shoes.
The four suspects and the exhibits were taken to the police station to make an education contract before being released to return to their homes.
While they were waiting for the police to finish filling out all the education contracts, the women sat down to a quick game of cards outside the station.

Cambodia News (Battambang Province): On August 5, 2021, Moung Russey district police arrested 8 people who were caught illegally gambling in 2 different locations in Battambang province.
The first location was in Toul Prom 2 village, Kokoh commune, Moung district, where 2 suspects, Loy Loeut, a 38-year-old, and Raen Roeurn, a 47-year-old man were arrested for playing cards.
The second location was in Po 2 village, Kear commune, Moung Russey district where 6 people, Song Chantha, a 34-year-old woman, Song Srey Nich, a 20-year-old woman, Ok Chanra, a 26-year-old woman, Ok Chanry, a 32-year-old woman, Tho Ron, a 62-year-old woman, and Ren Sreymao, a 29-year-old, were detained for Bingo gambling.
The suspects were detained for rehabilitation and made to sign the written warning and agreement before being released.
