Fun things to do on a budget?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Do aerobics on the riverside. Maybe $0.50 for an hour.

Take the ferry behind Cambodiana Hotel that goes across the river for $0.25.

Take the public transport bus around town, if it's still going, and bring some friends and drinks.

Sneak into Wat Phnom. If you get caught, the entrance fee is only $1 anyways.

Go to DreamLand and get on the ferris wheel to see a very good few of the city. Entrance $1. Ferris wheel is about $2 I think.

Cruise the riverside and see how many times you can get approached by the Philippino card scammers. Free (unless they convince you to go with them).

If you pay white skin tax perhaps. Entrance fee is 2000 KHR.

I've gone twice. Paid the 2,000 entrance.

Maybe the wheel was $3.

Only $1 on weekdays.

Haha thanks for the suggestions y'all!! I'll definitely be checking some of these things off the list. My budget ' around $10 per day but taking into account transport to and from work every day.

Where do I go to get on this? The few cruises I've been told about were more expensive than that but $5 is very do-able for me and that sounds great.
