Re: Come on Down, The Price is Right!
Is that really suppose to be art or is this a joke?
Re: Come on Down, The Price is Right!
I shit you not...
I will reveal it's location along with it's price tag. Keep bidding everyone...

Re: Come on Down, The Price is Right!
The tag does not even mention the artist, just the gallery selling it.
Your guess is sensible. It is also miles away...

nice hue, but the apsara is missing
blue period, perhaps representing a breakup
or possibly a banksy-esque unfinished work, representing clear sky hope
or both?
I'll guess $2400

Quick boy, run to the village and fetch me an easel, brush, paint and some canvas.

This "gem" is on sale at the Feel Good Cafe opposite the Sun and Moon hotel on 136.

Re: Come on Down, The Price is Right!
Let's see.
It's a too large canvas for someone painting blurry shades of depressing greens.
My guess is the painter is someone thinking that bigger is better, and has no clues about the various shades of greens someone can obtain by mixing it with yellow, instead of white only.
There is about 20$ tops of canvas, depending if bought on street 14 artshops or at the Bookcenter,
and 5$ max of green + white + brush.
I can think of better ideas to decorate a wall with 25 bucks. Also for better investments for the sake of speculating (like buying a bottle of wine).
After that, maybe the guy is brave enough to propose it at 50 $, who knows.
Free would be too expensive anyway. I would need a donation to take it.

Ah Ha ! It's an Absulute Emerald. I guess the typo makes the kick of it.
Well it's just a 2200 $ try costing 26 $ ( pricetag included.)

Ha ha, I didn't spot the typo. What a bunch of idiots...Ghostwriter wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2019 7:34 pm Ah Ha ! It's an Absulute Emerald. I guess the typo makes the kick of it.

I'm taking up painting. My first pic is going to be of a glass of Anchor Smooth, on a bar top. I'm going to call it "Beer in the morning"
I reckon there is a niche for bad painting, like kids paintings, but done by adults.
