A side note, but it does say much about the Afghani fighting spirit and style of combat.

The Lee Enfield 303 has proved enduring in that part of he world.
This 120 year old rifle proving to be more effective for everyday use in local conditions than even the ubiquitous AK47.
I am not a gun nut, but i loved target shooting with these beasts when i was kid.
You can see how they would be so suitable for that craggy mountan range warfare.

It is filthy rich in lanthanide minerals embargoed by China, and has a lot of lithium as well as the flowers that weaken Iran so profitably

They build Lee Enfield and martini Henry copies by hand there today.
