Garbage Truck Drives Itself Into a House in Phnom Penh

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On August 14, 2019, a Cintri Company garbage truck smashed into a house on street 217, in Sangkat Cheung Ek Thmei, Phnom Penh. There was some damage done to the house.

Before the incident, the truck was parked outside a restaurant, but the driver didn't take the key with him. Then the garbage workers went into the truck and turned the engine on, when suddenly the truck took off and smashed into the house.

After the incident, the police went to the scene and removed the truck from the house. A representative of Cintri company went to the scene and agreed to pay compensation for the damage to the house owner.
