How to retrieve assets in a country your denied entry

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

@ atst...ask the bank for a crypto card and card reader, then you don't need to rely on receiving the one time use codes...the crypto card reader gives you the code, simple and effective.

ABA online doesn't give access to term deposits so you cannot if needed cancel and transfer funds into your saving account , looks like back to using Canada
Best stay out of trouble with the law and immigration

For personal effects and household goods, you can hire an international moving company.

You will need to provide proof to them you live in the house / belongings are yours. Someone will need to provide access to the premises.

You'll also need to idemnify them against legal claims (notably from yourself if you think somerhing is missing).

Depending on the country you'll need to write a letter to customs explanining why you cant be there to personally oversee the shipping. Depending on the real reason and situation this may have to be carefully worded. Foetunately in most countries there is little linkage between immigration departments and customs.
