Asia Tops the Globe for Gambling Revenue

This global gambling graph shows that the gambling revenue in Asia is significantly more important than in other areas of the world, despite the fact that officially there is no gambling at all in mainland China.
How have they calculated this graph ? And do Asians really gamble so much more than non-Asians if we count such things as the state lotteries, the horses, and the football ?
