It's ingenious, but that engine(?) might make the front passenger's ride slightly uncomfortable. Where is the picture from? Africa?

Cheap riders from Java
2 /3 / 5 wheels, barbwire, goat skull, car wheels on d.i.y frames, any idea, you name it, they did it, some are still rolling now.

If you want to be environmentally friendly and not use fuel at all.
I have thought about making something like this, but I probably never will. You could make it pedal with electric assist, and the roof could be solar panels.
You could even make it with a back seat, and a space for luggage, and call it an environmentally friendly alternative to a tuk tuk.
