Jealous Husband Shoots Wife in Sen Sok Restaurant

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: Around midnight on August 7, 2019, a jealous husband drove up to a Sen Sok restaurant in a Highlander and fired seven shots at his wife with a handgun.

The woman, who was badly injured has gone to hospital for treatment. The husband, who is a military officer, was detained by people at the scene when he tried to flee. He has been arrested.

The husband, 39-year-old Chom Chamnan, is being charged with the attempted murder of his 35-year-old wife. He fired seven shots at her with a K59 pistol. The victim is still being treated at Calmette Hospital in Phnom Penh.

Wow he must be a really bad shot, hope she is OK.
I have had my heart broken on many occasions but always just walked away.
Some guys seem to have a greater sense of ownership or to much of a coward to go through the pain.
Or could it just be pride?

South Australian police officer is copping major backlash online after he was filmed firing multiple gunshots at an injured kangaroo in an attempt to kill it.

The footage, which was uploaded to Facebook last night, has been seen more than 423,000 times and shared more than 6000 times.

Police were called to an oval at Stuart High School in Whyalla by a wildlife rescue group to put the animal down after it was noticed with a broken leg,

In the video, the officer is seen facing off with the kangaroo before aiming towards it and firing multiple rounds at its body, despite it still standing.

Good news, the woman has survived the attack.

Colonel Hour Mengvang, district police chief, said Maj Chamnan will be sent to Phnom Penh Municipal Court today. He is accused of attempted murder and could face between 10 to 15 years in jail if convicted. The victim is still receiving treatment at Preah Kossamak hospital.

I have very little experience with guns, especially pistols, but they say those Chinese Makarov copies are total garbage. The ones still around are likely very old by now too. It's a traffic cop type of gun, or just used because it is relatively small and easily concealed.
