AirAsia to remove processing fee for credit card, online banking payments
Re: AirAsia to remove processing fee for credit card, online banking payments
Phnom Penh to Bangkok they used to be the cheapest if you could book ahead And fly hand luggage only, But on my last two trips Lanmei beat them on price And offered the convenience of BKK over DMK (train).SternAAlbifrons wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2019 7:34 pmThey used to have ridiculously cheap fares in quiet periods. Fare sometimes cheaper than the taxes.timmydownawell wrote: ↑Tue Aug 06, 2019 1:20 pm Well that's good. They don't seem to do free seat promos any more (i.e. just pay taxes) but their planes always seem to be pretty full now.
But a few years ago they put a minimum prices on tickets. Still cheap if you surf the dates, but never almost free as before.
They seemed to have tweaked the algorithms pretty well tho, as you say Tim, the flights are pretty full these days.

It's worth it - just to carry that smug smile while everyone else is looking so resentful.
I just started writing the instruction manual but I am not very good at keeping anything simple. Give me a day or so.

I'm an AirAsia fanboy because the airline brought real competition to Australian skies. Prior to their arrival we were paying $700-$1000 return to Bali from Perth, the trip can now be had for $260. Yes, they can be low on service and they try to squeeze every dollar out of you for anything other than the basic fare, but, well, I'm happy to put up with that because without their introduction we from the land down under would still be getting screwed over for ridiculous airfares into Asia and across our sunburned country.
