Sleeping Tuk-tuk Driver Was Not Sleeping
Phnom Penh, Cambodia Breaking News: A tuk-tuk driver was found dead in his tuk-tuk this morning at 11:10 am on August 3, 2019, along 108th Street 61 in Wat Phnom, Daun Penh District, Phnom Penh.
According to relatives, the victim is Nuon Soeng, 47, a native of Tram Kak commune, Tram Kak district, Takeo province.
According to a witness at the scene, the man was used to sleeping in his tuk-tuk, but this morning, they saw that he was sleeping longer than usual. On inspection, the man's body was rigid so they reported it to the police.
After the authorities arrived and conducted a forensic inspection, concluding that the victim died of "wind", the body was transported by tuk-tuk to Wat Srah Chak pagoda and handed over to relatives to take a cab to their hometown for a traditional ceremony.
