right on the road, the Khmer policeman suddenly froze, folded his hands in prayer and with a smile began to repent before the Buddha of unfair fines, bribes and deception of citizens, vowing not to sin again and to follow the precepts of virtue.
Having finished his repentance, he smiled again and returned to directing traffic, ignoring my dumbfounded look.

“You should always let the motorcycle idle for a few minutes to allow the oil to warm up enough to properly lubricate the engine.”
Yeah, in the shade it was +46 Celsius, and in the sun the needle confidently jumped over 50 on the Soviet thermometer.
I'll go warm up the motorcycle )) and welcome to Cambodia - the land of eternal sun!

The beginning of the flowering of the luxurious Cassia Fistula tree, aka ើមលឿងរាជ, aka Laing Riech in Cambodia, is a harbinger of the six-month rainy season starting in about a month.
