The new Netflix documentary, Running with the Devil: The Wild World of John McAfee, needs to be seen to be believed. And even after you see it, you may not believe it.

The documentary, which began streaming on Wednesday, tells the story of computer programmer John McAfee, whose name you may recognize from McAfee anti-virus software. But, as you’ll see from the film, McAfee’s life after he sold his tech company was far wilder than your average eccentric retired millionaire.

I watched it. He would have been at home in Cambodia (pre the change) too

No way he off'd himself. He loved the game to much

Yeah, I tend to agree with you that he didn’t kill himself.

Sorry. Thought it was common knowledge that he was found dead. I’ll say no more.

That movie is on my bucket list after listening to a podcast a few weeks ago where the ghostwriter of his book was interviewed. Holy shit, what a story.

I watched the McAfee movie last weekend. Great guy and what a life, but I didn't quite like the filmmakers' self-centered attention whoring.

They crossed a border with him illegally, boo-hoo. None of the Vietnam War reporters made such a big deal of being in the line of fire. Snowflake journalism.
